June 2018 series deadlines

  • From 16 August 2018: Provisional results sent out by email
  • End of August 2018: Provisional results ready for collection. Emails and text messages will be sent to candidates with collection times and where to collect the results from. Please note that results may be collected from Johannesburg or Cape Town British Council office
  • 15 September 2018: Deadline for letting us know if any details are incorrect on the June 2018 results documentation without charge
  • 15 September 2018: Deadline for submitting enquiries about results for June 2018 series

November 2018 series deadlines

  • 22 June 2018: Deadline for sending application for modified papers
  • 22 June 2018: Application for non-delegated access arrangements
  • Registration period: 18 June 2018 – 31 July 2018
  • Pricelist will be available on this page by the 18th of June 2018
  • Late entry registration period:  1 August 2018 – 7 September 2018
  • 7 September 2018: Deadline for retake entries

Practical Exams November 2018

  • Practical exams are administers in JOHANNESBURG ONLY for this exam series
  • Please do not apply for a practical component that is not available on the pricelist
  • For practical exams in Cape Town please visit the Cambridge International website for a list of school in Cape Town that can administer practical exams. You are kindly requested to register for the practical component directly with the respective school

Exam locations

All Private candidates can register to sit for British Council Cambridge International Exams in Johannesburg or Cape Town (written and practical components).  

Please note practical spaces are limited

The venue address will be communicated to all candidates as they receive Statement of Entries. 

Requirements

To apply, you need:

  • A completed the application form below
  • An ID/Passport sized photograph
  • A copy of a South African ID Book/ID Card or a valid Passport; a birth certificate for applicants under the age of 16
  • Proof of payment
