We are one of the UK’s largest charities but our footprint is global.

We are on the ground where it matters. We have offices in over 100 countries around the world including 20 Sub-Saharan African nations. We’ve been operating in South Africa since the 1950s, consistently carrying out cultural relations work even during difficult times.

Our objectives span education, the arts, English and intercultural dialogue. We work across public, private and third sectors in the UK and worldwide. This puts us in a unique position to enable new and truly international thinking to tackle the problems of today and tomorrow. In 2016 our international education conference Going Global will come to South Africa, bringing university and further education leaders from all over the world together to discuss the major issues concerning the field.

Our team consists of skilled professionals able to create and deliver projects on local, regional, national and international scales. Our work reaches 600 million people globally every year. Our capacity to deliver almost anywhere means we can create inspiring and relevant programming with you. Our remit is to connect the people of our two countries – we can bring in UK and South Africa experts from the fields of education, culture and society to ensure the highest calibre of project work.
