There are three different IELTS exams available. Please refer to your immigration agent, employer or university to find out which exam pertains to you.

IELTS
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an English test accepted for immigration purposes.

IELTS UKVI
IELTS is on the UKVI list of approved Secure English Language Tests (SELT). If you need an IELTS test result as part of your application to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), you will need to take your test at a specific test location authorised by UKVI. Please confirm with you immigration agent, employer or university. 

IELTS Life Skills
This test involves Speaking and Listening. Please confirm with your immigration agent or employer.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
