We work closely with universities, colleges and educational institutions in the UK and can make arrangements to administer examinations, re-sits and admissions tests in South Africa for candidates who cannot travel to the UK.

Why take or re-sit a university examination with us?

We will make all the necessary arrangements for the local delivery of your exam, including:

  • compliance with the regulations of each university, educational institution or professional organisation
  • arrangement of a suitable venue with appropriate facilities
  • receipt of your exam materials and their secure storage
  • dispatch of scripts via a reputable international courier to ensure safe and traceable delivery.

Please note that we are unable to provide facilities for examinations that have a practical component.

Register

Register for your exam directly with the institution you are enrolled or plan to enroll with. The institution will decide on the exam dates and times and notify you directly of these. The British Council South Africa will be happy to administer your exam in either Johannesburg or Cape Town, as long as it's paper based and there is no practical component to it.

We charge a fee per paper for administering your exams and for sending your scripts via courier to your institution.

Please call or email us for the latest prices in this regard as these fees are adjusted monthly according to the exchange rate.
