Participants are invited into a day of play, and making, and making for play! Maker Librarian guests, Gina Waldman and Anthea Moys, are play activists who will host a workshop about play and how this is active in our own practice as makers. We will also be playing games and experimenting with materials. All skill levels welcome - artists across mediums, creative directors, designers, facilitators, people interested in social design, and those that like to have a lot of fun.
The Maker Library Network is a Connect ZA initiated project connecting makers and designers around the world and will be hosting a series of workshops during I/ZA, which is in partnership with Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival in Johannesburg, 20 Aug - 12 Sep 2015.
