The aim of ‘Bridging Worlds’ is to foster real collaboration and skill sharing, by taking two makers from different backgrounds and allows them to teach their skill, and learn the other. The result is that the product/object/artwork created at the end of the day is not just a collaboration where each person works on aspects related to their skill set; but rather a chance to equip participants with the knowledge and guidance to work on something with new perspective and skill. All skills and disciplines of making welcome!
The Maker Library Network is a Connect ZA initiated project connecting makers and designers around the world and will be hosting a series of workshops during I/ZA, which is in partnership with Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival in Johannesburg, 20 Aug - 12 Sep 2015.
