The COSY entrepreneurship training programme forms part of the project ‘Creating Opportunity for South Africa’s Youth’ (COSY). Its overall objective is to build the capacity of young people aged 15-25, particularly young women, to become entrepreneurs, enabling them to become more active agents in sustainable growth in South Africa. COSY is funded by the European Union and delivered by the British Council in partnership with Business and Arts South Africa, LifeCo Unltd South Africa and Livity Africa. Based on the experience and expertise of these partners, COSY has three focus areas: creative, social and digital enterprise.

The programme:

  • targets youth between the ages of 15 and 25
  • particularly encourages the participation of young women
  • will be delivered in 8 modules, spread over a period of 4-5 months.
